Rue de Royal 26 1/2" High Outdoor Post Light

  - Item OLG4547

Rue de Royal is inspired by the historic look and romantic feel of gas-burning lamps. The collection is reminiscent of antique gas lights still popular in Southern cities like Charleston and New Orleans. The piece features four candelabra style lights behind large panes of clear beveled glass. Solid copper construction with an aged copper finish that will gain the classic copper patina over time. From the Quoizel outdoor lighting collection.

Outdoor Lighting Tip

A post mount style outdoor light is a great way to illuminate front yard walkways, garage areas and driveways. When selecting post mount lights keep in mind that it’s better to go larger in size than smaller. Lanterns will appear about half the size from fifty feet away that they do up close, so from the street they can look rather small if undersized. Also, the longer your driveway or path the more post lights you’ll need. A spacing of around ninety to one hundred and twenty feet is good. This gives you enough light to act as a reference at night, and also creates interesting pools of light to mark the way up the drive or pathway.
