Some types of glass offer an antique, traditional look, while others are more sleek and contemporary. Seedy glass, which has air bubbles in the glass that diffuse the light, and water glass with its shimmering, wave-like pattern, have an antique look. Tiffany style outdoor lights have colored glass panels arranged in geometric shades. Alabaster glass made to look like alabaster marble and white frosted glass are more often seen in contemporary outdoor and landscape lights.
